Desilu began when actress Lucille Desirée Ball married bandleader Desiderio Alberto Arnaz III in 1940. During their marriage, the pair built Desilu Studios and Desilu Productions and gave birth to two children -- Lucie Desirée and Desiderio IV (Desi Jr.). They also starred in a little television comedy called I Love Lucy.
In 1991, Lucie and Desi Jr. formed Desilu, too LLC to manage the estates of their parents and have led their family legacy through the decades. In 2018 D2 welcomed a third-generation, granddaughter Katharine Desirée, to carry on this legacy of creative innovation. Together, we are working to propel the brand into the future.
In partnership with licensees and network leadership, we work to bring useful, joyful, and impactful products and experiences to the planet.
